Taking place at:
East Coast Fibreglass Supplies.
This series of practical demonstrations will be given by John Dickens, Technical Editor of Complete Kitcar Magazine and author of the book ‘Automotive Fibreglass. Fabrication and Repair.’
The first session will begin by illustrating the basic materials and their uses with simple projects. Subsequent sessions, timed at 4 week intervals, will then move on to more complicated techniques for copying or fabricating articles including plug and mould making, strengthening methods, special materials and gelcoat and structural repairs.
The programme will also be flexible enough to allow other topics to be added or substituted if there is enough demand from those attending and, depending on numbers, there may be the opportunity to get ‘hands on’ with the materials.
