These strong drum stands are constructed from 25mm welded tubular steel. They have 4 wheels on the base for trolley mobility. These stands can hold our 225kg drums of gelcoat or resins.
To use the drum stand: It is recommended to use two people for this task. Simply insert the stand whilst the drum is stood vertically, the drum stand’s rear support is inserted under the drum and then the drum can carefully be tipped forward. Once the rear wheels touch the floor, the wheels should be chocked with suitable wedges so that it can’t roll forward, then drum can be tipped fully into a horizontal position. Obviously ensure your drum taps are installed before carrying out this manoeuvre and make sure taps are not accidentally knocked open during the process.
