A 600g biaxial fibreglass fabric consisting of +/- 45 stitched with polyester yarn to 300g chopped strand matting, very useful for building layers rather than using individual materials separately. Total weight of material per sqr mtr is 900g.
This cloth is also known in the US as Style 1708 fibreglass, 50" wide (25 oz/yd²), 1708 being reference to 17oz per sqr yard biaxial stitched to an 8oz per sqr yard chopped strand matting
The CSM has no binder as its stitched to the fabric thus making it compatible with Epoxy and Polyester Resin systems.
As the reinforcement cloth is a biaxial fibreglass fabric stitched with polyester yarn and not woven, the Fibers are not crimped keeping the fabric layer smooth, which promotes maximum strength.
If you order 2mtr or less, these cloths will be folded to reduce packaging materials, if however you require the item to be on a roll please let us know in customer notes.
