Aramid Fibres are used in a wide range of applications during composite construction, they can be used in conjunction with Glassfibre and Carbon Fiber.
For optimum results Aramid is best used with Epoxy Resin, although it is compatible also with Polyester Resin also.
Aramid fibres can help decrease weight in many applications without any compromise to strength, as it has an excellent strength to weight ration.
The tape can be used as a seam repair on Canoes / Kayaks.

What resin should i use to impregnate the Aramid tape with , Epoxy or a Polyester resin?
An Epoxy resin is always advisable when used in bonding tapes ect onto any composite part.
