Crystic 2-446pa is a pre accelerated, thixotropic polyester resin with low styrene emission. Its rapid wet out, low exotherm and fast hardening characteristics making it ideal for thick multi-layer laminates in spray or hand applications.
Crystic 2-446pa is recommended for boat building and general moulding applications. During the laminating phase, styrene emissions are considerably reduced compared to a normal resin.
As this resin is Lloyd’s and Det - Norske Veritas approved it is suitable for construction and repair of Marine craft under their survey.
It can also be used for other applications such as roofing applications that do not require building reg certification for example sheds etc , GRP automotive body repair, GRP canoe and kayak build/ repair. And general GRP moulding.
Full drums of this resin are available with or without catalyst.
