Atlac 580 is a bisphenol A based vinyl ester urethane resin, dissolved in styrene.
PERFORMANCE.
Atlac 580 is suitable for high temperature water, acid and salt solutions. Low peak exotherm allows the manufacture of thick laminates.
MAJOR APPLICATIONS.
Atlac 580 can be used in all fabrication methods, but is especially adapted to meet the requirements of filament winding, centrifugal casting, hand lay-up and spray-up applica-tions.
APPROVALS.
Cured non-reinforced Atlac 580 conforms to type 1310 according to DIN 16946/2 and is classified group 5 according to DIN 18820/1 and group 8 according EN13121/2. Atlac 580 passed testing at TĂśV for use in flue gas cleaning plants.
